Meet Steve Purbrick, Area Sales Manager covering the South East region. Steve has been with the business for 15 years. In this Q&A he tells us a little bit more about his role and himself.
Briefly explain your role (include any areas of specialism)
I provide finance solutions to our clients, mainly within the professions sector
What do you enjoy most about your role?
My role brings me into contact with a wide variety of clients, all from different professions and all needing different finance solutions. No one requirement is the same so there is always something different to get involved with.
Which three words would you use to describe yourself and why?
Straightforward - if somebody asks me a straight question, they will get a straight answer
Friendly - always happy to chat something through
Relaxed - life is just too short!
Can you describe a professional achievement/highlight?
Throughout my working life, the longest I have ever worked for one employer is for Braemar Finance and I can see me being here a long time yet! I think it’s testament to the business and its culture – we’re committed to helping our customers make the right financial decisions.
What are people unlikely to know about you?
I am a keen follower of rugby union
When you’re not in work, what do you like to do?
I really enjoy watching rugby union and doing a spot of DIY, although I am not very good at it!!
